Both Propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerin (VG) are used in the creation of vape liquids. These ingredients can be found in many of the products we consume today.

PG is a synthetic food additive that belongs to the same chemical group as alcohol. As well as being used in e-liquids to create an intense throat sensation, it is also commonly used in many food and cosmetics.
